Anyone know the differences(if any) between the 2008/2009/2010 models?
From what I can tell the color is lighter in the 2010 model, and the seats in the 2008 model are cylindrical instead of rectangular. Not really concerned with minor changes like that.
Mostly interested if there have been any material/manufacturing changes? After shopping around I have found the 2010 model at lower prices than the 2009 model and am wondering why that is.
And for the price it seems to be a great, durable, inflatable boat. Good reviews everywhere I look. Any warnings before buying one? I intend to use it just off the shore in the gulf of mexico and in the bay(port st. joe). No rapids or anything.
Also debating whether to purchase the intex seahawk 2 instead since it is so much cheaper, but I like the idea of being able to bring a 3rd person in the future(this trip is just my wife and I)...any reason to stay away from that boat?
EDIT: also have wooden oars already(we canoe, but only locally, want something more portable for camping and road trips) and i intend to buy a trolling motor
