Invader aq271c/DP-A trim just clicks?

today i installed my outdrive and my trim tubes werent at the right length to match up so i jumped in the boat and tilted it down, the trim pump came on for a few seconds and then stopped now all the darn thing does is click. maybe solenoids behind relay? fuses..im not sure were they are?

Volvo only uses relays, no solenoids. Sounds more like weak battery, loose or corroded connections somewhere, including loose grounds.

Well.... After much frustration cleaning the connections and replacing both relays which didnt work.. Then i decide to re- wire the trim relays only do i find that there was no direct power to them... The previous mechanic must have removed it??? Well at least its all new

At least you found the problem, and understand your trim system a bit more. That's a good thing ya know.
