Now that the US has found paper documents in Baghdad that Russia was training Iraqi's how to infultrate most western countries, as recently as as Sept. 2002 (Diplomas from spy school in Moscow), against 13 UN resolutions against suppling Iraq with this type of information, how does the US approach this infraction?

The UN?

Who else will we find has been suppling information to Iraq?

Nothing new about Russia trying to infect the US.I don't think we ever stopped watching them since the Cuban missle crisis.

Re: Iraq - Russia

Yea but the question still remains...

How does the U.S. deal with this?

Are we suppose to trust them still?

Are we suppose to keep sending them money to help the Russian people with needs that their own government won't give them?

The Russians probably made a fortune off of Iraq...where is that money?

I know they did not help Iraq for free!

I understand that Russia has problems, but we have problems here in the U.S. too!

All I hear is that the U.S. has to stand behind Russia in order to keep it from falling back into communism.

What about the education system, social security, the national debt here in the U.S...nooo, third world problems are more important!

It seems everybody elses economic issues are thrown into America's lap, and the American people are suppose to pay for it.

I don't see Russia offering to help pay for the war in Iraq, but they want control in Iraq!

Is it the American citizens fault that they work the hardest, the longest hours, without the holidays that most other nations have, and pay the highest tax rates of any other nation.

And yes, that makes us the richest country!

So the rest of the world is jeolous of Americans and they feel that the U.S. should just throw money at them and if we don't send them money, they claim Americans are greedy, aragant, and selfish.

Jelousy is most of the worlds problem, not the U.S.A.

If they would rather have 30 day holiday's(like Rammaddan), then suffer, don't blame the U.S.

Why keep sending the Russians money when they do not have to account, or repay that money.

This is taxpayer dollars being sent to Russia to help them get back on their feet ( we set up schools, social services, etc.)after the fall of the Soviet Union, and this how we are thanked...by helping those who oppose us?

The U.S. seems to give everyother country the very things that the U.S. needs, and all the U.S. gets for its generacity is a kick in the arss.

President George Bush stated after Sept. 11, 2001, "that nations are either with the U.S. or they are with the terrost's"...so is Russia with the terrorist?

It seems to me that this thing in Iraq is only the portion of the iceburg that is above water...remember, 75% of iceburgs are hidden.

All we hear about in the media is how is the rest of the world is going to look at the U.S. after this thing is over in Iraq.

Shouldn't it be...how is the rest of the world going to look at the rest of the world when this thing is over?

Sorry to rant, but I feel that hatred of America is going to run wild and it will not be the Americans fault...it will be jeolousy!

If the rest of the world wants what America has, then they have to work for it... NOT THE AMERICAN PEOPLE GIVING THEIR HARD EARNED MONEY TO UNGRATFUL THIRD WORLD COUNTRIES !

I understand your frustration. There simply is no clear cut solution. The US will have to deal with whatever it is dealt. It's a crowded world and everyone wants a bite.

I agree with everthing you said ob, but I think that my issues need answers now, before it all comes spiraling down on the U.S., and causes worldwide choas, that will be blamed on the U.S.

I think we should deal with it as we have N.Korea so far....Ignore them as insignificant. Not that the aren't, but we can lead rather than follow, prescribe rather than pander. Beyond this, we should show our position by not supporting the United Nations. I would go so far as to sugjest we sucede for the UN, and kick it's HQ outta this country.
A bit harsh, but if it is to to used as an anti-American weapon,as it has in this Iraq thing, then why is it still here?
JMHO

There is simply just no way you can claim any of the above. You have no idea what the average working hours or for that matter diligence of people in my country, England, New Zealand or any other country are. And we pay 43% tax on income and a further 14% sales tax on each buck I spend. I know for a fact you don't.

I realise this is a very frustrating position for you guys to be in, hang in there, this paranoia will pass.

Re: Iraq - Russia

Hey rude,

You are partially correct because, in my frustration, I implied that the rest of the world did not work as hard or pay as much in taxes as Americans, and for that I was wrong, please accept my appology.

The point I was trying to get across is nations who oppose the U.S. (mainly Arab nations) do so because of their jeolousy, and the holidays that they take (some of their holidays last more than 30 days) causes their industries and governments to be dictated to by their religion instead of having a seperation between religion and state affairs.

My original post was vague on that point.

Bottom line is, the countries who oppose the U.S. do so solely for religious reasons, that interfere with their ability to be productive in industry and government, and that makes them jeolous of the U.S.
