This guy cracks me up every time I read one of his statements or see him on tv.

Is he for real ? What world does he live in ? We can see the pictures of what's going on - yet if you believed what he says ...well you know what I mean.

I reckon the comedians of the world are going to have a field day with all the material this guy is giving them !! :D Outrageous !!

Lets put him in a room with the stuff they are finding in these barrels.

Maybe then he will understand that he has lost this war.

Good one LadyFish,I suspect he'll still be in denial when he's got an AK-47 sticking from his rear.Maybe this guy is like an Iraqi robot(like one of those futuristic movies portrays) that is programmed to spew propaganda. He is at the very least an information anti-Christ ,not a minister.

The problem is... after the war is over, every talk show host will want him to appear on their shows.

He'll probably make a million dollars for each show he appears on.

That Info Minister and the diplomat from the UN must of gone to the same public speaking course in Iraq. Just say what you want to believe and heck with the facts.

Pretty ironic.

I was thinking about this guy this morning and the "truth" coming out of his mouth.

Then I thought, hey, what's this guy got to lose by telling the truth - other than maybe his life, or the lives of his family.

Sometimes thing's are not as simple as they seem.

Marty

Since this war pretty much has it all, why not some comedic relief?

This should give Jay Leno a lot of new material to work with.

War is not supposed to be funny, but sometimes you just have to laugh.

Here is another one from NPR:

A Cobra helicopter accidentally flew in in the line of fire of a dozen howitzers, that were ripping off rounds.

The helicopter pilot, realizing where he was at, made a VERY HASTY evasive maneuver, to clear out of the area.

Gunnery Sargent quote: "sure hope he has toilet paper on board"

Marty

I think the Iraqis should be grateful that the Marines and US Army provided their barren desert regions with an adequate suppy of fertilizer albeit in the form of buried fecal matter. ;)

At first I did not understand why this guy was allowed to preform his role unobstructed, however in the last few days I have decided this guy is just plain funny. Besides when this is over he can seek political refuge from the new goverment and make a decent living at the DMV.

My apoligies to any one who works at the Department of Motor Vehicles...Its a joke.

I find it humerous too. You know, many Iraqi's have seen American tanks in their streets, they then go home and watch this guy on TV, There's something to be said about credibility... I'm sure they get a good laugh as well.

Hey look at this! - the "comical genius" has dissapeared  along with all the other Iraqi leaders....

refer paragraph #5 of the following story; ;)

Iraqi Leaders Vanish

Even Information Minister Mohammed Saeed al-Sahaf, who has turned up daily during the war and poured abuse on the Americans, failed to make an appearance.

But don't worry - as Kenny said, I'm sure he's destined to become a tv celebrity...stay tuned :D :D

And have any of our Canadian friends get to see Hanoi Jane on tv telling how America was monsters or something to that effect?

I hate this woman and wish she had her thighmaster stuck up her keyster.
