I just bought a service manual from marineengine.com for my '69 rude and it was worth every penny.

I have Clymer and ABOS. ABOS does more in about ten pages than Clymer does in 150.

Abos cost me $10 on eBay.

Clymer cost me $90 in a shop around the same time.

Clymer has instructions that nearly ruined my motor. ABOS had the right instructions that stopped me breaking the motor.

For roughly the same money, get a factory manual every time over Clymer. But if you're not willing to spend more than a few bucks, get ABOS but the factory manual has to be better, if only on a lot of detail that ABOS can't fit in.

Well I just purchased a OEM from OutboardWizzard and it came in 3 days and it was handsdown better than the Seloc manual I purchased last year. OEM for my 48 spl was $45 and parts manual was $25 and shipping was $5. Seloc was $37 plus shipping.

Go with OEM!

Beck
