Is it safe to use oxyacetylene torch on transom bolts?

I'm trying to remove the transom assembly on a 93 Sea Ray Sundancer that's very badly corroded, I have all 8 nuts removed and it'll barely budge, I may have knocked the top bolts back a mm if even that and the rest of the bolts are super corroded, can't even get the inner plate off. I was wondering if it's ok to heat up the bolts with an oxyacetylene torch or should I use something a little less powerful like a propane torch?

With all that fiberglass, you are asking for a fire. Can you use an air chisel?

Where the driveshaft comes through the inner plate’s receiver ring that centers over the outer male section may be the problem. Screw the nuts back on the studs and pound on them along with a pneumatic hammer using a blunt driver punch. Being careful not to damage the gel coat, try wedging some wood chisels under the outer plate.

Aluminium (the inner transom plate and the gimbal housing) melts at around 600°C. Steel bolts aren't even warm at that temperature....

Mix up ,50% acetone and 50% ATF. Better than any spray oil you can buy. Use the air hammer

I tried an air chisel and lots of penetrating spray but didn't have any luck, the whole area around the bolts were too corroded, I ended up putting 2 nuts on back to back on the bolt to lock them up and then just un-screwed the entire bolt from the transom assembly.
