i have a johnson stinger2 70hp<br />i took my compression today<br />120<br />100<br />90<br />should i be looking at getting the motor rebuild<br />also is there a avereage cost to get this rebuild<br />i live in canada<br />thank you
Your problem may be a carbon build-up. Before I took out my wallet I would try getting the carbon out. There are a bunch of posts on how to do it. Check the Search function - Try "decarb". It will cost you less than $10.00 to do. Check compression after - I would do the decarbon and run the cr%p out of it on the water first.
