Is Mercury Flo Torq Prop hub any good?

I just installed a new prop on my Mercury outboard. My old prop seemed to have a solid hub, the new one has a Flo Torq hub. I can twist it by hand, will it hold up, or do I need to keep a 6 pack of hubs in my ice chest?

When I had the hub assembled and ready to install, I could twist the 2 halfs. With it on the motor and prop is on, the prop feels springy and has forward aft play. The instruction sheet mentioned this and said it is normal. I'm just wondering if its going to strip out at the drop of a hat. Like running a ground on some fluffy sand, would something like that strip it out?
