Aren't you getting the proverbial cart before the horse? You've only had the boat out once, have no performance data and are ready to pop for a prop that you have no idea if it's right or not. We can't help you determine that until you make some wide open throttle runs with what you consider an average load. If the engine runs at or very near the top of the recommended RPM range then the prop you have is correct. If not -- it isn't. You then make corrections from there. You also don't know if the engine height is correct. With the engine down, check the position of the AV plate in relation to the bottom of the boat. Let us know what you find.
