I am looking up the electrical diagram for my 88 OMC 3.0L Bayliner. Is the OMC a Ford Engine?

No. As Bond-o said the 3.0L is a Chevy based motor.

In 1988 OMC did offer a 2.3L 4 cylinder Ford based motor....they went by the name of TKO and the Valve cover would prominently display the Ford emblem. That motor was only used for marine use by OMC for a few years.

The 3.0L 4 cylinder is a Chevy based block. It was never used in an automotive application. However, it is the same basic engine that Volvo Penta and Mercruiser are still using. There many of them out there and parts are easy to come by. The distinguishing indentifier of the 3.0L motor is that the front motor mount is dead center at the front of the motor.
