We went fishing yesterday In West Galveston Bay and there must have been 50+ commercial boats oystering. It really stirs up the water and the thought of them scraping the bottom of the bay and removing a good source of food for the fish just dosen't seem like it would be a good thing.

The bay was closed for oystering for a long time. Now you can barely drift fish without running into an oyster boat. I just can't believe its good for our eco sytem.

Any thoughts?

P.S. Yours truly yanked in a 22" speckeled trout and a 19 1/2" redfish. The redfish wasn't in slot so I had to throw her back.
