Is the Teleflex "EXTREME" back mount rack steering cable worth the extra money?

I'm going to either replace the rack steering cable or the tilt mechanism to aleviate the unwanted play in the steering wheel. I'm considering the extreme cable SSC 15415 instead of the std SSC13415. Does anyone have any comments on using this cable and comparing it to the std cable?
This is going on my 2003 glaston i/o. Thanks for any comments you may have.
