Is there a big difference between 1994 & 1996 Johnson 70 ?

I was wondering if a 1994 factory manual would do fine for reference to a 1996 Johnson 70?

The motors are basically the same. Both 56 cid 3 cylinder loopers. Some specifics may differ but they're basically the same.

boatster,<br /><br />I agree with Dhadley,but after some more thought .... while the wiring (electrical system) uses the same colored wires,the 1996 has totaly different connectors on the harness,than the 1994. <br />This could make electrical trouble shooting a bit of a problem,but everything else is pretty similar.<br /><br />Just thought you might want a heads up on this.<br /><br />DHP
