Is there a thermostat on a 1955 Evinrude Fastwin 15hp??

Hi there i have been restoring this 1955 Evinrude Fastwin 15hp and i cant seem to find a thermostat anywhere. I'm just wondering if someone could tell me if there is a thermostat and where or if its a non-thermostat motor? Thanks

There is no thermostat on that model.

I have no idea just how cold those old engines run but they're like the old Ford Model A..... they just seem to run forever.
