I recently bought a 1968 LynCraft fiberglass boat that has a 1960 Mercury 300 on it which I believe is a 35 hp motor. Anyway, I can't seem to be able to find anyway to tilt the damn thing from inside the boat. Any advice?

There should be some kind of handle towards the back of the motor to grasp and pull up and forward (tilt). Of course, you might need to be able to curl 100 lbs to do it! ;)

And if the reverse lock is working, you'll have to be in forward gear to tilt it up.

-W
