Is There A Way??

Ok...I have cleaned and reinstalled the carbs. on my 1988 DT85. I was very careful to reinstall the jets and mixture screws in their previous positions (which may or may not have been correct but each was EXACTLY 2 turns counterclockwise from being lightly seated). I also made sure the floats were all equal and set at the recommended setting.
But on the 1st test run she was very rough and would stall out even after a 10 min. warm up at 3000 rpm (motor dies as soon as I try to idle it). Now I'm thinking that the carbs need ot be adjusted for mixture and then sync'd.

So the question is...

Is there any way I can sync them myself ? I do not have the "balance" they talk about in the manual.
Or is there something else I may have missed?

TIA,
Terry B.
