Is this a stringer transom?

I've read a lot of discussions on here about the OMC Stringer and I wanted to be able to recognize one.<br />I don't know how to pst a picture on here, but, could someone look at this boat on ebay and tell me if this is the stringer? Yup, thats forsure a saltwater stringer drive

That would be an old electric shift model.

Hi Captkid, good looking boat. If I were near it I'd probably give strong consideration to buying it, plug the hole in the transom and put a Volvo Penta in it. Bet it would make a sweet unit (if the basic structure is still sound).

Oh yeah, those photos really make me want to get a stringer drive....
