Is this crack something to be concerned about?

Hi there, I am looking at buying this boat it's a 2004 Four Winns 248 Vista. I went into the cabin below and at the center of the boat in the Aft cabin (under the captain's chair essentially in the middle of the boat on lower) I noticed this crack. I can't see anything on the outside. Is this something that should be repaired or is it normal for a boat of this age?

Appreciate your input in advance!

Many thanks,
Ryan

Looks like a rotten crack . . . not just a crack. I would not be buying it.

Unless you love refurbishing boats for fun, I suggest you not walk away, but run! However, if do love refurbishing such things, enjoy.

If the price is right and you like fixing this in the next 12 months then go for it. Figure what it is worth in good condition and then subtract the cost to fix it. You will see that it should probably be free then.

If you bring in a surveyor, he will tell you its junk and not safe.
