Is this engine oil good?

I came across what I consider a great substitute engine oil that seems to meet all the Mercruiser requirements and is reasonably priced at $36.94 for a 5 quart jug. That is enough to do a 4.3 ltr. engine including filter. I's called Triax Marine Ultra, is fully synthetic and I saw it on Amazon. It even includes shipping. What do you think?

Look at the back of the bottle and read the API certification label. Think it should be SJ

Quicksilver so conveniently does not disclose any certification data on their oils other than FC-W. Quicksilver is at best a blend. I believe Mercury specifies a fully synthetic oil. The rating on Triax is NMMA, FC-W, API SM, JASO MA. I think that's better than OEM but I don't know what all of that means

No one can really say. If you run it do a Blackstone oil analysis and then you’ll know. I’ve had good results with both the conventional Merc 25/40 & syn blend 25/50. I do an oil analysis at the end of each season.
