Does this sound like a good flooring plywood?

CCX Treated Plywood - Pressure treated exterior plywood. Lifetime warranty-ground contact. Grade stamped to ensure quality. Nominal thickness pine.

Personally, I'd use an ACX. The voids in the surfaces of CCX will be a pain to deal with, and they will weaken the floor a lot.
I'm also not a fan of pressure treated ply. Usually what you get is warped and low quality and still soaking wet. If you do use pressure treated, make sure it air drys a good long time before going over it with glass, or you'll have adhesion problems.
Other than that, hey, it rots less.
Encapsulating either in epoxy helps a lot. It's pretty well manditory for untreated ply.

You should know that ACX is not exterior plywood. It's sheathing, the stuff they put on the outside of houses before the brick veneer, and can only be exposed to the elements for a very short time.

c/6
Hooty

Tha main thing to look for when choosing plywood is the color of the glue. If its black then its waterproof. After that make sure it void free.

Huh, I thought the X in ACX (or CCX) stood for eXterior glue. We use a different system up here though.

If you are glassing over the CCX, you will probably be OK but marine grade is the best choice. If the deck is exposed, marine grade only.

I got that ACX information from the web site of one of the plywood manufacturers trade groups.

c/6
Hooty
