I have a 2005 Odyssey 727 CTT Lextra, triple toon, with an E-TEC 225 std(not H.O.). With a 15.5x17 Rebel prop I am getting 5500 RPM's. The operating range is 4500-5800 RPM's. HP is 225@5150. Am I good where I am or should I go down in pitch to get more RPM's. Thanks.

Here are some stats of the boat

Length Overall: 28'2"
Beam: 8'6"
Dry Weight: 2,880 lb.
Seating/Weight Capacity: 19/3,465 lb.
Fuel Capacity: 29 gal

1 inch of pitch is usually equal to around 200 rpm, if your figures are right you would move to the upper limits of your operating range. The best thing to do is try to borrow a prop from someone and try it out with the boat loaded as usual and see if you like the results. Sometimes it's evident performance has changed, sometimes not so much.

Your obviously close to your rated max rpm. Are you satisfied with your performance? What is your max speed? How is the hole shot?Do you normally run with a bunch of people? How does the rpm hold up with a load?Any ventilation issues? There are a number of ways to go.You could go with new 18" pitch,If you have a good prop tech in the area you could have them change pitch or remove some cup.
There are an amazing number of props available. If your prop is not a pontoon dedicated prop you might consider that.
