I have a 86 sea nymph striper.I finally started to redo the floors and transom.I bought the boat used and it always took on water. After ripping out everything the galvanic corrosion was worse than i expected. This boat was used in salt water and the motor was fried when i bought it.All full of corrosion.U can see where the transom rivets to the side of the boat is all corroded.I sand blasted it but looks pretty bad.The metal in the back looks like swiss cheese. Is this Worth the effort.???Thanks..Gordy

If the rest of the hull isn't badly corroded, I'd repair it. If it is, scrap it.

That area could be fixed nicely by welding in some new aluminum.

thats looking bad you could probley find a better hull for less than you would spend saving that one strip the hardware and find a new hull where i live $500 could buy almost any hull with no motor or trailer
