Well to explain real quick the problem here. I have poor water flow coming out of the pee hole. I have some flow at idle, but if the engine is raced up the water quits flowing. It might be just me but I think there is exhaust coming out of the pee hole. Here's what I found when I tore into it.
Cracked housing:

I think this pipe is deformed:

Anything else I should look into? BTW this is 1963 Johnson 40hp Electramatic

Also, any ideas where I can buy the housing. I've looked around and everyone seems to be selling impellers only.

You need a whole water pump kit and some gasket sealing compound to start. That crack in the water pump make it difficult for the impellor to do its job for sure.

Here is the kit that you will need, it includes the impellor, housing, plate and all screws, available at laingsoutboards.com. Good Luck

Aren't those impeller blades bent/facing in the wrong direction, too? I just did this job today...

Hehe;), they might be, I kind of just stuck them in there to take the picture. That was my first time tearing into the water pump on an outboard.
