Around here we are starting to get some temperatures in the 40 to 60 range. I couldn't stand it today so i pulled off the tarp and sprayed the dock cover with the 303 fabric protector. The gallon i had did cover it but i ordered another gallon to do the bimni, the boot and the grill cover, if any is left over i will spray it on the dock cover later. Also did a bit of wiring and put the battery on charge. At least my lake is not frozen any more.

Don't get to excited just yet. We're supposed to get an inch or so of snow Thursday I think. LOL

just looked and we have a few nice days here in the north then a few below freezing again, as long as it melts this blasted snow.

I am so sick of looking at white, I heard we had 100'' of snow this year, last year it was maybe 25-30.

My river is open finally, that is the longest I have seen it iced in in along time, shore to shore for at least a month and a half.

The end is near though, running the heat in the shop now to finish up the boat and get started on the bike and get it ready.

How have you been doing 5150, haven't seen you in awhile. My little lake was frozen over completely, first time in 30 plus year and of course my dock cover decided it needed water proofed in January so i have to tarp the boat until yesterday the only good thing is i found the 303 fabric protection on sale at 45.00 a gallon.

wow,where did you find that good deal?
i need to do my cover for this season, i'm gonna lay it out on a tarp, and use a poly sprayer.

I used a garden sprayer and it worked great and I did mine on the boat off one of those 2 step ladders.

I got it through amazon. I wouldn't wait to long as the weather gets better they will jack up the prices.

We are still well frozen over. Only had maybe three days over 40F and nothing that has reached 50F yet. Pretty concerned about flooding and high water this Spring and it could last quite long. Could put a significant damper on getting the boating season underway. There is probaly 2 to 3 feet of ice still on lakes and rivers around here still. We had a big snow year this year, but not epic. However, the ground froze to 8' and it really can't thaw until all the snow melts. March is generally the snowiest month of the year for us. So far, not a flake and the 10 day forecase looks pretty clear. Then again, we had 6" on May 4th last year.

Got the list finished today and waiting on the fabric water proofing to come in, then its on a slip till November. I cant stand it any longer i need to get some fishing in.
