But the treatments are fun (hunting down more motors) and you meet all sorts of cool people at the support group meetings (Antique Outboard Motor Club swap meets). The disease is infectious (as witnessed by the many posts on this board regarding tired iron) and can be transmitted in many ways (even digitally!).

If you think you may be infected, visit the Antique Outboard Motor Clinic, err, Club at www.aomci.org .
- Scott
Chinewalker's Place

The lawn mowers just kind of accumulate on their own. We actively pursue the outboards, although it's not uncommon for them to just sorta show up from time to time as well.

I went to one of our support group meetings this morning and let the munchkin mess around with an old CD-11 Johnson 5.5 (1954) before I got serious and dropped my KG7 Hurricane on the back of the old 12' Dura-Nautic. That setup checks in at 32mph on the GPS! Just a little bit squirrely trying to steer and operate the throttle (slider on the front of the motor - no twist-grip in 1951!) with two hands and keep my ball cap from blowing off...
- Scott

Hiya Sloop,
That depends. That pic is a couple years old. The one you want may or may not still be there, and it may or may not be for sale.
Drop me a line: csr112-n@prodigy.net
- Scott

the only way to remedy this problem is to quit
cold turkey! I'll be there in 6 hours with a
truck and I'll remove all of these problems
for FREE!
then you won't have the daily temptation of looking
at them.... I am MORE than happy to help someone
with such a serious addiction.
(JK)
what's the saying? he who dies with the most toys
wins? man, I'm way behind you dude! :)
