this site should have a classifieds section just for used parts that members can exchange and sell amongst ourselves. Alot of us have older boats that only others of the same interest have parts for. i dont see how that would take away from iboats business. as long as no one is posting new items for sale. oh well. theres a few other boating sites, maybe you can give them away over there.

It would take more moderation than we're interested in doing to keep it that way (I've been on other sites where dealers definitely use the free classifieds to unload excess inventory). Plus you end up being somewhat responsible when people screw other people etc. etc. It's just not going to happen.
