j120TLCO vs J120TLCU Service manual difference??

I have a 1985 Johnson 120 an coming across a manual p/n 507508 is impossible or too much money, my question is I have found factory service manuals for 1987 Johnson 120's that have a model number J120TLCU but I'm not sure is these engines are any different cause parts seem to be compatable.

I know my year manual is for 2hp through V6 an are multiple manuals of over 900 pages an mostly cause it covers a wide range of different engines.

Anyways if a 1987 120 manual would almost be exact please let me know. Thanks

Go ahead the 87 manual will have all the information you might need !

Are you sure ? Referring to you saying "might" lol just need to be sure as I'm not sure if these engines are different designs or different carb set up

Ok I did just look and between carbs, ignition, tilt trim hydraulic parts they have different part numbers on most but not all, I wish I could find a picture online of the 1987 bare engine close up so I can see if anything is placed differently or design differences

The '85 to '87 the motors were pretty much the same. In '88 they changed.
