Working on a friends boat, when I press on the fuel bulb gas leaks out of the very top of the fuel pump, more on the oil pump side if that makes sense. I think the needle in pump that lets the gas in is leaking or something. Is that normal or is that something that can be fixed or does the pump have to be replaced? The boat does run ok but then does cut out sometimes although I think it has a bad spark plug or two as well
