I have checked compression, all within a couple lbs of 120, replaced all 4 spark plugs and coils, not the wires yet and still get the same issue. Some times it will start and idle fine and then it will start missing and sometimes it will start up missing. It is almost positively running on the starboard side only when this happens. I say this because I can touch the other side's head cover and it isn't hot. The starboard side is hot. It seems to be pumping water fine. Choking and throttle have no affect on it running when it's doing that, but when it's running right it runs well. Is there a sensor or something that can be causing this? Maybe a bad temp sensor (no alarm although I'm not positive if the boat has one as I've never heard it) or maybe some type of low oil sensor that's bad? I'm not sure where to go from here

If you think you are having a spark problem, go to the CDI website and look up your engine, use their trouble shooting chart to help you check out your ignition system.
