Hi, the head on my boat was leaking plus the motor would frequently not start until I took a dime/small screwdriver and turned the slotted shaft which sticks out the back side. So I rebuilt it with Jabsco's rebuild kit. Now it flushes great, motor always starts 1st try and has no leaks. The only problem is it won't refill. I have a thru hull seacock (which is opened LOL), I even opened and closed it several times thinking the ball may be stuck. The inlet line is not vented nor has a solenoid valve. With the inlet hose off the pump motor I would expect to have water come rushing in as it is a direct source to the lake but nothing. I don't understand why but does it need to be primed? I could remove the hose off the seacock to see if I have water coming in but its a pain to get to (I just had neck surgery) and I doubt the inlet hose is totally blocked. Could the rebuilt pump have enough suction to suck the toilet dry yet not enough to draw water through the seacock into the bowl? I've been using my sink spray hose to refill it after each use so the impeller doesn't run dry so I don't think its that. It's for a '04 Glastron GS249 and originally had a manual setup. thanks, Charlie
