Japan 5hp mariner age please.

I need a new water impeller for my little 5hp, but not sure about the age. the serial number says: Mariner 5hp Japan 5M 6E3 142210. Thanks for any help.

I dont know the age so I can not order the correct part. Do you you know how to find the correct part Boscoe?

A 6E3 Mariner motor made by Yamaha is the equivalent to a Yamaha 5MSHS. The parts listed for the 5MSHS should plug and play with a 6E3 Mariner motor.
