Where are my postings?<br /><br />I’ve noticed responses I have posted have been removed. Why?<br /><br />* There is nothing offensive in any of the postings.<br />* They are not technically inaccurate.<br />* I do not sell anything.<br />* I have not slammed iBoats.<br />* I did not refer purchase of product to another source if available at iBoats.<br />* I did not refer service to another source if available at iBoats.<br /><br />Someone asked about anti-fouling paint. I referred then to the current issue of Powerboat Reports with its unbiased evaluation of anti-fouling paint.<br /><br />Someone asked about hand-held LORAN. There are none currently made so I suggested an obsolete unit that is occasionally available on Ebay.<br /><br />I don’t get it?!? Why are you deleting my postings? If there is an issue with content, I won’t know until you tell me. If my input is not welcomed here, please let me know and I will go away.

I don't know what has happened, 18rabbit, but I have not deleted any of your posts.<br /><br />If someone else has deleted them I don't know why.<br /><br />Please Email iboats management with details of what has happened. Though Admin5 is out of town for the rest of the week, perhaps someone there can figure it out.<br /><br />Once in a while I wonder what happened to a post I thought I had posted, only to discover that in my haste I had hit the back icon instead of the ADD REPLY icon and moved on without rereading to confirm that further editing or revision is not needed. It seems unlikely that could be your problem, as there are too many posts missing.<br /><br />Rest assured that you and your postings are welcome here.

In each case the postings were there for a few days then gone!<br /><br />Who has authority to lock a thread?<br /><br />One of my postings was deleted from the LORAN thread and the thread is now locked. Why would this thread be locked?

Looks to me like to was just moved to electronics. Sometime the mods or Admin will lock and move a thread so that is get the proper exposure.

Not that i really care but I noticed that about a couple of my older posts as well? I don't care but something might be messed up..<br /><br />Although some of my posts run a little stong sometimes

We mods are volunteers. We have limited powers over the board. We cannot resurrect a deleted thread. I am glad yours has come back up. Obviously there was a technical glitch that has been rectified. Sorry about the confusion.

Sorry 18rabbit but it wasn't me either. I promise we don't have it out for you. I don't think it was a technical error but maybe some situation we haven't thought about yet. I'll keep my eyes open. Thanks for bringing up the concern. Glad to have you aboard.
