How can I get my old account back? A few weeks ago I changed my email address in my profile and now can't get into that account. I sent a message to administration and got a canned message back to enter my email address to find the password. That didn't work. Can you look into the account for K5WAS and send the information to me at the address for this account? (Kwas)<br /><br />Thanks, K5WAS

I've been there a couple of times myself K, so I just end up having to start over. Never liked being a Naval officer anyhows.

I wish to change my email address as well.<br />There must be a better solution than having to <br />create a new user profile.

This from the profile area.<br />

Because we require that each email address be verified, any change of your email address will result in an automatic change of your password by the system; this new password would be emailed to the new email address that you list.

I did this a few months ago with no problem as long as it's a good email addy.

In other words, you would get a new password for the same log in name you use nowAfter getting logged in, then you can change the password to what you want.

A new password was not sent. It is possible that I entered the address wrong but I don't think so, perhaps JB will shed some light on this. It also says that you cannot change your screen name, how have users been able to do this, and so often?

I don't think it says screen name, it says log in name.<br />

Your login (user) name cannot be changed.
