Have a Mercury jet boat engine 120hp.
Bogs down when it gets around 40, looses power but doesn't stall out.
Had carbs cleaned, pulled gas tank and cleaned that, had fuel filter and fuel lines cleaned also. Has new plugs and compression is fine on all 4 cylinders.
Can this be a throttle problem or carb problem?
It now idles kind of fast.
Is it flooding at faster speeds or not getting enough fuel?
Open for suggestions.
