Jetting for a 2003 mercury 200Hp

Hi,

We were servicing my friends 2003 model Mercury 200Hp this weekend and I noticed something weird with his carb setup.

Serial No. OT921473

His main jets were all different sizes and ranged from
3X .80 Jets
2X .82
1X .84

Could someone please clear this out for me and tell me why you should have different jet sizes for different carb's and if the Jetting is fine for altitude of a 1700m.

i hope u remembered where the carbs went!
they were designed that way
it idles off the top 2!

You should reinstall the carbs and jets, just like they came off the engine. If you mixed them an OEM manual will show you which jet goes in which carb. It came from the factory like that.
