I have a 1992 60 hp mercury. This problem is intermittant. Each time I use the boat after a <br /><br />while (one week or longer) it runs well (top speed is 40 mph). But after 1 to 2 hours in use <br /><br />the engine loses power and won't go faster than 10-15mph. Then it runs well in idlespeed <br /><br />only, but when I try to accerlerate the engine starts to joggle. It sounds like one cylinder <br /><br />won' t get full ignition. Problem will last until I won' t use the boat for a while. After a <br /><br />week or longer in the garage the boat runs great 1 or 2 hours and the problem will start <br /><br />again.<br /><br />The Plugs and Plugwires are new. The Squeeze bulb has pressure. Fuel filter is new. Carbs <br /><br />are clean. The spark coils are ok. Tank is vented and clean. <br /><br />What kind of problem could that be?<br /><br />Thanks for answers.
