When I tilt the motor foward, I get a little fuel spill inside motor cover. Not much but obviously a problem? Any ideas
TIA
Dave

Might just be normal. Are you running with the airbox cover on?

Whats the model number?

Its an 86johnson 120hp, not sure of the exact model number.
It never leaked before. I wouldn't consider fuel leaking normal.

Time to clean the carbs & put new kits in them.

Re: johnson 120 leaking

On a looper its normal for a small ammount of fuel to accumulate in the airbox. Theres actually a rubber seal in the bottom that seals it so it wont leak.

If your airbox is filling up past the seal then its tiime to find out why. If youre running with the cover off you may get some when you tilt the motor.
