Blew #4 piston on my old faithful 1981 115HP johnson and had to do some fast old country boy trading to get my boat back on the water but the older 1977 135HP johnson had the old "Calco" type trim pump unit on it. The trim motor was shorted (water in housing) and also water in one lift cylinder. Found another bracket/pump/w 1 cylinder on ebay but I need a motor. Question is, does the original "Calco" motor have a splined shaft where it attaches to the pump? My original unit is frozen to the resavoir and I cannot inspect it.
