Hello. I currently have a 1990 150 GT with a 15x19p. Current specs are; Spectrum 17.5 aluminum full counsel boat, WOT 5250-5300 and tops out at 48 so far before hitting a damn tire on the river. I'm looking to do a laser 2 with a 22p, will this help increase speed? I'm looking for top end speed, don't really care for hole shot. Any recommendations will be awesome and appreciated. Below is a picture of the boat and current prop problem

Mercury's projections using the Laser II show about the same top speed(51-52 mph) with the 19 or 21 pitch prop; the real difference being the rpm; 5300 with the 19 and 5000 with the 21.

If it were me, I'd pick the 19 pitch Laser II in order to maintain a decent hole shot and better load carrying ability. Since the 21 pitch doesn't achieve more top speed and barely reaches the HP rated rpm(5000).
