Johnson 150 steering tube

Im trying to find information on this steering tube. It's a dual cable system and it's not the tilt tube. When trying to search for this part I can't find many that look like mine and the ones that do are 80$ . This seems unreasonable for a theaded pipe. Is there an alternative ? I'm thinking of just having one made at a local metal Crafters.mine is slightly bent and steering cable doesn't slide in and out smooth.

I believe that tube goes with a transom mount system -- type that comes in from the side of the splash well. (Screws into what looks like a ball, allowing 360 degree movement.)

No it mounted to the motor there's a bracket it goes through. Here's better pic to show setup.

It is part number 0126617 and lists for $150....$80 bucks is a deal.
