Johnson 150hp to 175hp transformation....Questions

I have a 96' Johnson Faststrike 150hp. Its mounted on a boat that is rated for a 175. What exactly is the difference between the 150s and the 175s? It looks like the same heads can I buy bigger 175hp carbs (small adjustments like that) or is there more too it?

I believe the blocks are ported different.

the fast strike is the GL model and is already almost a 175, same heads and only 1 size smaller jets. you probably already have 165HP..not worth doing anything else to it.
