Johnson 155 Thermostats sticking open??

I have a 1990 Johnson 155 Commercial motor and I have been told that my thermostats are sticking open and not allowing my engine to run hot enough. I am being told it is running around 75 F instead of around 120 F like it should be. I do not see a mention of thermostats in my Seloc and I do not have the motor here to check. Can any one tell me where the thermostats are and how difficult is it for some one mechanically inclined to change out?
Thanks for any help.

Go to Shop.Evinrude.com and you will find a good parts break down of your mtr.

Also another possibility. The pressure relieve valves may also be stuck open. warped or damaged. Check them, the springs and the rubber seats when you have the stat housing off to replace the stats. The stat housing is right at the top of each head. Easy to get to and fairly easy to work on if you have a parts diagram. You will probably need new gaskets (2) along with the 2 stats.
