Hello,

I recently did a single fuel line conversion on my 18 hp johnson and that went smoothly. Plugged one of the check valve holes put everything back together and installed the new briggs and stratton style pump. Well when I go to fire it up it runs but no water is flowing through the motor. Now this is my first time running this motor. So my question is, say something went wrong with the fuel line converson.... does that have anything to do with the impeller not functioning correctly? Or should I just tear apart the lower unit and replace the impeller. Thanks in advance

No relationship between the two systems whatsoever (assuming it runs)

Okay. Taking off the lower end should be relatively easy right? There is just 6 bolts or so. Or I have seen a video on an older model johnson where the guy had to take the power head off to remove two bolts to remove the lower end.
