Is it possible to get a new female red connector , someone cut the end off when I first got the motor

Should be able to find used harness on the online auction site. Plenty of them I'm sure.

I was hoping i could just replace the connector, to bad, that's all i need, I got a good deal on the engine so I can just buy a harness. Thank you for the input

the red connector was used for years... you could just cut a connector off another harness if you want to... but that's a lot of soldering/ heat shrink and then your left with connections that are actually brittle

I think they got this sorted out more than 2 years ago !!
