Johnson 1996 Fast Strike 150 - Fuel Injected?

Hi there. I am buying a Brand New Johnson 1996 Fast Strike 150. I want to know if this is already Fuel injected and has oil injection? The model number is: BJ150GLEUE<br /><br />Also any tips on starting this? The engine is Brand New from 1996. My friend bought this 96' and never used it. Could there be any problems with it stored that long? It is located here in the Philippines so no Winter problems.<br /><br />I wanted to test the engine before I pay for it. Hope you can give tips how to go about starting this engine for the first time in 8 years.<br /><br /><br />Thanks!<br /><br />Francis

Cool motor. The first tip about starting it after sitting for 8 years is -- dont.<br /><br />Go thru the carbs and throttle bodies first. Then start it. It does have oil injection capabilities.<br /><br />Great find, good luck!
