I had my powerhead built last year and it ran fine. This year the rpm's stick at 4k and I have to trim it to get it to plane (18mph). This can take from 30 sec to several minutes depending on load & wind. After it planes, the RPM's will go to about 5,400 and the boat zips along okay. It will not go above 5,400. I have checked compression and they are all okay. I know when they rebuilt it they had to put a new coil on it. Could this be the problem? Any ideas where i should start? Thanks
