johnson 25 hp should i buy it?

howdy , thiking about buying a 2000 16' lund deep v , with a 2000 25 hp. johnson 2 cycle ele. start motor (tiller), from the pics it looks like the boat and motor are new, and he says the motor runs great. -- anything good or bad about the motor i should know about , or can look for when seeing the boat out of water to make an offer on it. or if you owed or know of anybody who has this motor and likes it ,or hates it , thanx

you sure that's enough motor for that boat? Myself, I would regret being underpowered.

i would not buy, without a water test drive. plus a compression and spark test. must pee water when running.

Agree, buying without testing the basics is a very bad idea.
