I have a problem with my 25 hp johnson (1980) no spark ?? the stop button seems too be ok ,and i remove the fly wheel but could not find any problems with wires .How can i check the cd unit (Power pack)?? are there any main fuse some place ? if somebody have a throuble shooting guide regarding this machine i will be very happy . <br /><br /> Olav.

Olav.... At the powerpack plug there is a black wire with a yellow stripe. This wire leads to a kill circuit. Carefully remove that black/yellow wire from the plug. Remove the s/plugs. The spark should jump a 7/16" gap. If so, there is a ground effect (short) in the area the black/yellow wire leads to. If still no spark, the usual failure is unfortunately the powerpack.
