Wanting to install an 80's model 75 hp Johnson on a 30' flat bottom barge style houseboat that will run less than 10 mph. Was thinking a 9 pitch prop, any suggestions.

That 75 is a high port engine. Made to perform on light weight boats. Not much hole shot performance, but made to run higher rpm's than the 70 model. Up to 5750+, so a 9 may be a good place to start.

I'd run twin 40's or similar if it were me. But that's just me.
