Hello,

is there any difference between both two-cylinder engines.
Has the older 35hp engine really 5 hp more ?

In brp parts list I only found different parts numbers for intake manifold and exhaust tube (diffusor tube).
Does this mean that exhaust pipe is tuned differently with the 35 hp for more power ?

I would deeply appreciate your respond.

Greetings from Germany

both engine are rated for the output at the prop. the 35 has 5hp more output. depending on the condition of the motor.

There may be other differences than the manifolding, Nordy. The port timing and tune-up specs are probably different. The 35 may use a different carb with a larger venturi and different jetting.

But, as daddy says, the 35 has 5 more HP at peak than the 30.
